Ad: Adams Bench Winery 2009 Reckoning red wine

Tasted at 55-60 degrees on the IR temp gun. Sultry deep magenta with a core of darkness in the Riedel, this three-grape blend explodes with plums, fresh-from-the-oven blackberry pie, and cigar box aromas. Full-bodied and frictionless on the palate leading to a sustained residence displaying colorful flavors of sweet violets, dark chocolate, a smooth bed of elegant tannins, cedar, tobacco leaf, sage, and fiery autumn foliage.

Alcohol: 14.8%. Columbia Valley AVA. 52% merlot, 44% cabernet sauvignon, and 4% cabernet franc. 500+ cases. Power: 3/5. Balance: 3/5. Depth: 3/5. Finesse: 3/5. Rated: 92. Retail: $39. Sample bottle. This is WAwineman… uncorked, uneducated but not uncouth.
