Flying Dreams Winery 2009 tempranillo

Tasted at 59-66 degrees on the IR temp gun. Color: black raspberry jello. Nose: cedar, smoke, dried tobacco leaves, raspberry. Mouthfeel: soft medium. Tail trail: 7 seconds. Flavors: bright red cherry, red plum, cigar room, vanilla, blueberry, oolong, sweet lumber. Another fab pairing with TJ’s paneer tikka masala (note to my Uttar Pradeshis).

Alcohol: 13.9%. Columbia Valley AVA. Power: 2/5. Balance: 2/5. Depth: 2/5. Finesse: 2/5. Rated: 88. Value: $20. Paid: $35. This is WAwineman… uncorked, uneducated but not uncouth.
