Tenor Wines 2010 syrah

Tasted at 60-66 degrees on the IR temp gun. Curiously unsatisfying but this is the 2010 “cool” vintage. There’s plum. There’s white pepper. Then, there’s white mint, black cherry, and strappy tannins. At least the tasting room experience was fun.

Alcohol: 15.1%. Classified vineyard sources. I’d tell ya but then I’d have to make you drink 59-rated sangiovese, which, btw, is now available at a fire sale throughout select Puget Sound retailers. Caveat emptor. Columbia Valley AVA. Power: 2/5. Balance: 2/5. Depth: 2/5. Finesse: 2/5. Rated: 88. Retail: $58. This is WAwineman… uncorked, uneducated but not uncouth.
