Trouvaille Winery 2007 Red Mountain merlot

Tasted at 58-62 degrees on the IR temp gun. Color: magenta with ruby edges. Nose: black cherry, blackberry. Mouthfeel: full-bodied. Tail trail: a persistent 10 seconds. Flavors: red currant, huckleberry, cherry, red plum, sweet cedar, rustic brown spices. Great with Pasta Nova faire– Woodinville’s finest Italian restaurant. Protip to the ladies: if you are gunna date me, then this is where you will take me if you want a “dessert” that involves whipped cream and one ripe cherry.

Alcohol: 14.3%. Vineyards: 85% Klipsun, 10% Destiny Ridge, 5% River Rock. Red Mountain AVA. Also contains: cabernet sauvignon, malbec, and cabernet franc. Power: 2/5. Balance: 2/5. Depth: 3/5. Finesse: 3/5. Rated: 90. Value: $25. Paid: $25. This is WAwineman… uncorked, uneducated but not uncouth.
