Tasted at 63-66 degrees on the IR temp gun. Color: radiant dark magenta. Nose: dark violets, peppers, blackberries, chocolate. Mouthfeel: full-bodied. Tail trail: black pepper, gunpowder, dried bark, charred barn, dark chocolate, stinging nettle, clove, thyme. Great with chicken parm and Lay’s Hickory BBQ chips.

Alcohol: 14.5%. Blended. Less than 200 cases. Columbia Valley AVA. Power: 3/5. Balance: 3/5. Depth: 3/5. Finesse: 3/5. Rated: 92. Value: $35. Paid: $35. This is WAwineman… uncorked, uneducated but not uncouth.
