Tasted at 55-63 degrees on the IR temp gun. Color: ruby with brick wall. Nose: cherry, cigar box, leather, raspberries. Mouthfeel: medium bodied. Tail trail: 9 seconds. Flavors: cherry liquor, lavender, potpourri, chocolate dust, allspice. Decent pairing with world-class chili.

Alcohol: 13.5%. Red Mountain AVA. Vine age average: 13 years. 8400 cases. Dirt: Hezelsilt. Power: 2/5. Balance: 3/5. Depth: 2/5. Finesse: 2/5. Rated: 89. Value: $20. Paid: $18. This is WAwineman… uncorked, uneducated but not uncouth.
