Mercer Wine Estates 2012 chardonnay

Tasted at 52-59 degrees on the IR temp gun. Color: light canary. Nose: weak pineapple, lemon, pear. Mouthfeel: medium bodied. Tail trail: 5 seconds. Subtle flavors of lemon rind, nettle, grapefruit. Lame after 24 hours. A little flat. A little boring. Lacks complexity. Fodder for the ABC nitwits.

Alcohol: 14.1%. Horse Heaven Hills AVA. Worthless Stelvin cap. Caution: need pliers to remove the foil. Power: 1/5. Balance: 1/5. Depth: 1/5. Finesse: 1/5. Rated: 84. Value: $6. Paid: $16. This is WAwineman… uncorked, uneducated but not uncouth.
