Tasted at 62-66 degrees on the IR temp gun. Color: deep garnet-magenta. Nose: smoky red plum, wild raspberry, hibiscus flower. Mouthfeel: medium-bodied with a bite. Tail trail: a muddy 10 seconds. Flavors: Bing cherry, plum, licorice, raspberry, black pepper.

Alcohol: 14.5%. Columbia Valley AVA. 39% grenache, 35% mourvedre, 15% syrah, 11% counoise. Power: 2/5. Balance: 2/5. Depth: 2/5. Finesse: 2/5. Rated: 88. Value: $15. Paid: $17. This is WAwineman… uncorked, uneducated but not uncouth.
