Efeste 2010 Final Final red wine

Bon voyage, Brennon!

Tasted at 59-68 degrees on the IR temp gun. Color: black garnet. Nose: falsetto of black fruits, smoky fog of charred lumber, cigaro, spice box, tumbleweeds. Mouthfeel: full-bodied. Tail trail: 10+ seconds. Flavors: enduring berries of black and blue, plum, vein of oak staves, red dirt, brown spices.

Alcohol: 14.13%. Columbia Valley AVA. 59% cabernet sauvignon (“adds vigor, structure, richness, grip, and complexity”), 41% syrah (“brings juicy, ripe flavors and elegance”). Indigenous yeast. Unfined and unfiltered. Power: 3/5. Balance: 3/5. Depth: 3/5. Finesse: 2/5. Rated: 91. Value: $30. Paid: $28. This is WAwineman… uncorked, uneducated but not uncouth.
