Tasted at 59-65 degrees on the IR temp gun. Color: dark magenta. Nose: dried hay, blackberry, fungy, raspberry. Mouthfeel: full-bodied with some tang. Tail trail: 8 seconds. Flavors: unripened berries, granulated bark, mineral water, heavy tannins, potting soil, puckering tea tannins. Good with things burnt and beefy.

Alcohol: 14.5%. Columbia Valley AVA. 49% merlot, 29% cabernet franc, 19.5% cabernet sauvignon, 2.5% petit verdot. Bottle #3048. Power: 2/5. Balance: 2/5. Depth: 2/5. Finesse: 2/5. Rated: 88. Value: $16. Paid: $40. This is WAwineman… uncorked, uneducated but not uncouth.
