Van Camp Cellars 2010 Red Willow Vineyard merlot

Winery is located in Monroe.

Tasted at 58-67 degrees on the IR temp gun. Color: dark magenta-garnet. Nose: soft feminine scents of cherry pie, boysenberry, and plum. Mouthfeel: like a shaved woman. Tail trail: 8 seconds. Flavors: red fruits of a virgin maiden, blackberry, nettle, near-ripe cherry. Spices roll in after 24 hours. Great with chicken parm.

Alcohol: 13.7%. Yakima Valley AVA. Power: 2/5. Balance: 2/5. Depth: 3/5. Finesse: 3/5. Rated: 90. Value: $25. Paid: forgot. This is WAwineman… uncorked, uneducated but not uncouth.
